Service to Others.

Giving back is at the core of Michael Dwinnell’s efforts. Examples of his current efforts can be seen in his work to support waste-to-hydrogen production plants in Honduras, and Ghana,

Michael served as a member of the SMU Central University Library Board for two consecutive terms. He served under the leadership of SMU Central University Librarian Ms. Maurine Dianne Pastine and at the request of Dr. Kenneth Pye, former SMU President. A major initiative championed by the board was the establishment of the "Archives of Women of the Southwest," which is one of the special collections of the DeGoyler Library. Michael is a tennis enthusiast who has demonstrated a profound interest in the sport since his undergraduate years at Washburn University and The University of Oklahoma. His dedication to honing his skills and helping others improve their game has extended beyond the court. Michael is an active and committed contributor to the ACEing for Autism tennis program in North Texas, where he generously donates his time and resources to tennis-related events for children with Autism.

Michael's passion for tennis has led him to continue coaching High School and Collegiate tennis players with exceptional enthusiasm.

Mr. Dwinnell has been a proponent of an ambitious movement aimed at providing access to healthy produce in urban areas. Michael has been a vocal and early supporter of CEO Dave Dinesen and Cubic Farms Systems. Cubic Farms Systems is engaged in the manufacturing and assembly of automated growing machines, which are used for producing fresh produce, nutritious livestock feed, and propagating plants with high efficiency.
